I am a qualified Japanese teacher who has completing IELTS 6 and 420 hours of study for a Japanese language course. I have a police check, first aid, and child safety. In addition to this, I have advanced computer skills including expertise in most Microsoft applications. I completed my undergraduate education at a university in Kyoto, Japan, where I majored in economics, environment, and media. I have also attended an English language school in Hawaii in the U.S. as well as completed a diploma of marketing at Tafe SA in Adelaide.

Experience

I have been working as a Japanese teacher and private tutor for the past 6 years, both in Australia and Japan. What we cover in our tutoring sessions very much depends on what your goals are; we can work on everyday or business Japanese, Japanese for travelers, conversational Japanese, or even have lessons about anime games. In addition to this, I can provide assistance with the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) from the N1 to N5 level. For Year 12 Japanese students I can assist with tests and assignments, and work through textbooks such as Koukou Seikatsu, Wakatta, and more. I can also provide assistance with Japanese language learning at the university level of study. In addition to working as a Japanese and cooking teacher all over Australia and in Japan, I have also previously worked for an Advertising company in Tokyo and Okayama as an account manager. It is important to have passion when learning a language and my goal is to make you fall in love with the Japanese language.
