I have a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree that I earned in 2007.
Experience
I have several years of experience as a tutor. I was involved in an intensive tutoring and mentoring program at the university level. I am familiar with the Australian curriculum and pedagogy. I have also taught students with learning difficulties. I can teach math as well as all disciplines of science and English, mainly for secondary students. I am able to teach health science subjects to tertiary students. Prior to beginning lessons, I offer a brief Q&A session to potential students and/or their parents. I'll go through the curriculum so that the student is familiar with the material they will cover. During lessons, I can rehash or review what has been learned in class and go over any areas of difficulty. I can adapt my instruction to the needs of each student's particular goals, learning style, and needs.
