In 2010, earned my bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Central South University in China. In 2011, I earned my English Access certification from the Australian National University in Canberra. I also earned my Diploma of Economics at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in the same year. I completed my master's in International and Developmental Economics in 2013.
Experience
I have a year of experience as a private math and English language teacher in China. I taught mathematics to high school students, as well as trained and mentored students in a math review course. I helped students prepare for university-level math and counseled them in managing anxiety during graduate exams. I have taught primary-age students middle school-level math and to speak English. I can tutor students in Mandarin Chinese, Applied Mathematics, and any level of math from primary to high school. I understand how to make these subjects fun and engaging for others through motivation and encouragement.
