I am studying for my Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science at the Australian National University, and am also a swimming coach to kids from 8 to 16.
Experience
I have tutored 10th to 12th grade English students for a year and can cover a wide range of books and texts. I love to read, and I also really love to tutor because it allows me to share my passion. One-on-one lessons are effective at helping a student understand content on their level. I also find it helpful to call them during the week, see how they are doing, and discuss ideas for the next session. In addition, I have experience tutoring students in IB programs and an open to learning about other school programs so I can help a wider range of students. I can tutor in reading, writing, and science and especially enjoy teaching math. I can make each math lesson intuitive while teaching complex topics in a way that they seem easier. I take the time to help students understand the material and apply equations and rules without thinking much about it.

Hobbies
I love to swim, and I am a competitive national level swimmer myself. I swum through my high school career and I also am still training during my studies so I have a lot of experience in managing time and dealing with pressure. I also love to surf, rock climb, ski and any other outdoor activity in between.
