I graduated from a selective high school in Sydney and am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in law and finance at the Australian National University.
Experience
I have three years of experience in private tuition and I have undertaken marking at colleges. I've taught a variety of courses under the NSW curriculum in the fields of English and mathematics. I currently tutor middle and high school students in these same areas. I also offer test prep tutoring for a variety of exams including the IELTS. Working with a student in a private learning environment makes it possible to customize the lessons and instructional style to fit their particular learning needs. This allows us to work towards their educational goals more efficiently. It provides flexibility that is impossible in a standard classroom. We might take multiple sessions to thoroughly cover one topic and then cover the next in only fifteen minutes depending on how well the student understands the material.
